Teflon-coated stand mixer

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) static mixers are made of a translucent, chemically neutral, and non-toxic material with unsurpassed heat resistance and a smooth surface. PTFE, also known as Teflon, is widely used to  coat  cookware, especially non-stick pans. Static   mixers with PTFE/FEP/PFA coatings   are used in applications requiring high temperatures, resistance to corrosive chemicals, and long service life.

These stationary mixing systems are ideally suited for handling highly corrosive liquids. Both systems are suitable for low-pressure processes requiring high corrosion resistance and PTFE purity.

A stationary carbon steel mixer with a Teflon coating is a type of mixer with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coating. PTFE is chemically inert to many reagents and therefore acts as a corrosion protection layer even at temperatures above 230 °C.  Carbon steel pipes    with a non-adherent PTFE coating exhibit good insulating properties. Carbon steel pipes with a PFA coating can be manufactured by extrusion, PFA injection, or vulcanization.

These stationary faucets are resistant to thermal shock and therefore do not deform even during sudden temperature changes. The materials and coatings used are employed in the manufacture of various components , including PFA-lined manifolds for pipework. All of these pipes are brittle and therefore do not require aging, as they are not susceptible to corrosion. The outer layer, the so-called PTFE coating, is chemically inert and does not change over time.
